Winterpalooza
February 8, 2010

On Saturday, Harvey took the kiddos while I went to get my hair done and do a little “boutiquing.” There was a huge festival at the South Towne Expo center called the Winterpalooza and that is where they ventured to.

It ended up being much cooler than anyone thought it would be. The kiddos stayed intrigued for nearly 5 hours and had lots of play time. They had a million things to do: inflatable bouncy things, gymnasts and instruction, face painting, the living aquarium, snakes, a rock wall, treats, games, prizes… you name it, they had it.

They came home absolutely exhausted. The last three pictures in the slide show tell all. Bear was so brave to get his face painted. It really surprises me that he did it. He doesn’t ever like to have his face painted. He kept it on just until I saw it and then begged to have it washed off.

What a great time. I am actually a little regretful that I didn’t get to go this time. I will definitely mark that one on my calendar next year.

We went there on Saturday too! We were actually going to go to the train show but didn't know it closed at 4. Good thing Winterpalooza was there or Mommy would have been in hot water. We had to drag the kids out at 7 when they were closing.
