Today, after 4 days of being in school, the boys FINALLY noticed that the adults don’t wear uniforms like the students do (although we are expected to wear business casual.) This was our conversation:
Kaeson: Mom, why aren’t you wearing a uniform?
Me: I don’t need to. Only students need to.
Kelton: Well, that isn’t fair.
Me: It is perk of being an adult in a child’s world.
Kelton: Is that what it means when you are talking about the benefits package? That the benefit is that you don’t need to wear the same clothes as us?
Me: Not exactly…..
Kaeson: Well, it certainly seems like it should be. That is a huge benefit.
