Toadie had his Christmas program at his preschool and it was adorable. The school is extremely organized and runs really well. My only complaint with the Christmas program was that it was at 9:00 A.M. on a SATURDAY morning. Who does that????? Anyway, aside from the fact that the kiddos (and parents) were all extremely exhausted!
Toadie adores his teachers. I hope that they adore him too. I mention that simply because he is 4 going on 34 and thinks that he is the end all, be all, center of the universe, intelligent beyond all others master. Regardless, he is cute.
This was his star for the holidays. It says, “Kelton says the way I can bring Peace on Earth is…. to color the world.” How sweet. He certainly has practiced what he preaches by coloring all over the walls, furniture and in one horrible moment, my mother’s white leather chair. Unfortunately his enthusiasm has led to a his grounding from anything that could leave a mark unless under close supervision.
This was the funniest moment of the entire program. The teachers raved about this dance that the kiddos had all learned and were so excited about. They said that they had been practicing for over a month and were thrilled about showing it off to all of their adoring parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and unruly siblings 🙂
Well, I would post a video of the whole dance, but you can get the gist of it simply by seeing the picture. Yep, not one kiddo did a darn thing… except for Toad who was too busy not paying attention to face forward. I guess that will teach them to have such an early morning program one week before Christmas. It was however, darling to see all of the kids dressed up in Christmas Tree Costumes.
You can not have a Christmas program without a raging rendition of “Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer.” And of course, no Christmas song of Toad’s would be complete without his picking his nose enthusiastically.
My cute little man and I. It was at this point, right after the program, that I realized that he had completely unraveled the seam in the arm of his sweater. I love this picture of the both of us though. He is growing up so fast.
