When Devan was in town, we had the chance to take several pictures with most of the family there. It was so nice to be able to all get together. The first night that everyone was in town, we met up at a park near my home (when I was living in my old house) and had a dinner of sorts. Of sorts is to be interpreted as everyone stopped on the way to the park to pick up their own dinner. Coincidentally, everyone ended up wishing that they had brought what someone else had brought. We had Subway, Cafe Rio, Chick Fil A and Little Ceasars. It was quite the fun.
The next day, we gathered as many as would go and went up to Silver
Lake. We love that spot as it is always beyond gorgeous. We got some
pretty amazing pictures of the different families, kiddos and of the
four siblings that made it up to the lake for our walk. I can’t tell you how many hundreds of pictures we took in order to get ONE that looked DECENT of all of the kiddos. However, you have to agree, that they are a strikingly gorgeous set of cousins.
As for their parents…. well, that is for you to decide. I will have to say that that I have some pretty good looking siblings as well.
The final day that we were all together was the day of Downi’s Lion House luncheon. We were able to snap one picture of all of us that is…. well…. all of us. We are an out of sorts group, but we love it that way. We all chuckle over the parting of the family right around Dustin and the fact that Craig appears to be 8 feet tall. This was about the only picture that we got where everyone’s head is turned towards the camera.
This was taken the day before Mother’s Day. So, for Mother’s day we gave my mom a framed picture of all of the grandkids. It was actually very sweet. We had the picture of all of the kids in the middle and then individual pictures around the edge. It was fun to capture pictures of everyone as they were that exact weekend.
I don’t think that you could have a cuter and more interactive set of cousins. I am so lucky!
