Harvey has had the last several days off. So, we instinctively try to cram as much stuff into a day as we possibly can. Isn’t that the case with most people and their time off schedule?
Friday, we were going to head off to the zoo but, after given the choice, the kiddos decided that they would much rather spend the afternoon at the Heriman Splash Park. The Splash Park, for those of you that don’t live in the valley, is a normal every day park in the most southwestern part of the the valley but, it has a little area with water fountains and splashing features that let the kids get a little wet with a lot of fun.
On our way up, I text a friend that lived near the park asking them to join us. She replied that they were just about to call us to do the same thing. We met up with them and let the rascals run around for a while. An hour into the play time, while on a phone call to my brother, my friend Leigh starting calling me at the same, time. I didn’t want to be rude to my brother so, I decided to waited for our call to end before I called her back. At that moment, I heard “Darci, stop ignoring me!” I turned to see Leigh and my other gal pal Deb in the parking lot with their families. Apparently great minds do think alike because me and some of my best girls all had the same idea to go to the same park at the same time. Now, if we could only channel that great mind power and energy into something productive, clever or lucrative!!!
