My Review of Harry Potter
July 22, 2009

I went to go see Harry Potter tonight and I have to tell you, I loved it. I LOVED IT!

When I originally heard people talking about the movie, they were describing it as funny. I have to ammend that. The movie was hilarious. I laughed through the entire thing. That surprised me. I thought that the 6th book was the darkest of the books. However, the producers of this movie made it extraordinarily entertaining.

I will say, that my favorite part of the whole movie was the ambience. I got to sit next to Malfoy’s look alike. Malfoy just happens to be my BROTHER!!! Don’t they look exactly alike. People watched us leaving the theater thinking that we were with one of the stars. Next time he goes to see it (which he says that he won’t do because he hated the movie) I think he needs to wear an all black suite.

Dayn, my other brother, has the complete personality of Ron Weasley. Every time Ron did something on the screen, I had to laugh because it reminded me so much of my baby bro.

All in all, GREAT movie.

I actually did get to see the real Draco, Harry, Ron, Snape and Prof McGonagal, because they filmed parts of it at Gloucester Cathedral where I work. Some of the girls from work even managed to flirt their way into a tour of the set (I was not amongst them, unfortunately). Needless to say, during the three days of filming at Gloucester Cathedral, very little work was done in the offices, we were too busy celebrity-spotting, after all.
