I have decided to take a little bit of time every day to do a project that I want to do and not just need to do. I am hoping that this will help act as a stress relief in my little chaotic life.
Tonight, inspiration struck when I was folding laundry and saw this skirt that I used to like but, now it bothers me. It is a weird length and it has an elastic waistband. I don’t do elastic waist bands. But, I like the pattern and the fact that it is jersey. I could instantly see it as a little skirt for Kyra. She has such a tiny little waist that nothing store bought really fits her well. I thought that this would be super cute. I guess we will see tomorrow when she tries it on.

So cute! I wish I had you to alter Xander's clothes. The poor kid is size 6 length and size 4 waist! He spends all day hitching up his pants…hope she likes the skirt! Way to be frugal 😀
Um…okay, so this is adorable! I had no idea that you could whip stuff like this up. I'm definitely going to be coming to you when I'm in a creativity slump.
Way to go! I love to hear when "us moms" can take a little bit of time every day to do something that we want to do and not just need to do!
Plus, re-purposing a skirt for your girl is such a great idea! Can't wait to see a photo of her in it! Hooray!
I wish I could sew like you. What a great talent to have.
That is why you are my friend! Ok, that is one of the reasons why you are my friend!!
