Today, for many reasons, I am grateful for my family. I have a great family and I love them all very much. November 6th is a special day in our family. It is my mom’s birthday for one. Then, 18 years ago today, my brother Dayn was sealed to my parents in the Jordan River Temple. What an amazing day that was. Then today, we were all (minus my brother on the East Coast and my littlest sister) able to go to the temple as my youngest brothers both went through the temple for the first time.
As were were at the temple, I couldn’t help but think back those 18 years and remember how tiny those guys use to be. Now, they are one step closer to heading off to their missions in Brazil. It makes me want to take a little more time with my own children. I am sure, before I know it, they will be the ones that are going on their missions and I will be once again shocked in awe as to where the time has gone.
Mom, Happy Birthday. Dalton and Dayn, I love you both so much. The rest of you, all of you, I love you more than you will ever know. Thanks for being such an amazing group of people. You truly hold me to the highest of standards and I am honored just to be a part of you!
