Everyone needs and ice cream night. I sure do. Every once in a while, someone will round up a group of women from the neighborhood… or be that USED to be from the neighborhood and we will all go hit Leatherby’s together.

It has been a little bit tougher for me to get out to some of these events since I no longer have a built in babysitter, but bless their hearts, they come to me. Tonight three of my greatest friends came on over with huge sundaes and we laughed, told stories and gobbled up too much ice cream. It was slightly freezing (seriously, we are well below freezing right now) so we gathered up around my gas fireplace and finished our chat.

This is such a fun way to plan events, catch up on each others lives and just be ourselves for a small moment in time. Yes. That does get kind of scary at times, but we sure enjoy it.
