I Couldn’t Be Prouder
November 2, 2011

I can’t even begin to express to you how proud I was when I walked down stairs and saw Nena and her stash of fabric. She decided that she wanted to make an apron for her American Girl doll and knew where she could go to do it. She went downstairs and went through my scrap bag and ended up finding somethings that she would like. She had thread the needle and was getting ready to go! Oh, finally! Like mother, like daughter!

That's so sweet! Mary Ann had a little wooden sewing machine and a basket of fabric that she loves to pretend to sew with. I can't wait until she's a little older to really create some great things!
