Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
March 8, 2011

Last night my sister came over for a little girls night in. I enjoy hanging out with her. We always have a good time. Last night we made this decadent dessert, even though I had already maxed out my calories for the day. It was worth it!

This is one of my favorite recipes of all time. I got this from my friend Cami and I make it whenever I need a chocolate pick me up! It is relatively low in fat but maxed out of the sugar.

Right after you make it, the cake is on top and the hot fudge forms underneath. If you have self control (which I rarely do) and leave some for the next day, it is more like deep, rich chocolate pudding. Oh, baby…. yeah, it’s that good. Oh and for any of you that may be GFCF, leave a comment and I will send you the GF recipe!

Here is the recipe-

Mix the following and pour into a greased 9×9 pan:
3/4 C. sugar
1 C. flour
1/4 C. Cocoa Powder
…2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. milk
1/3 C. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Topping:
Mix and sprinkle over the top DO NOT STIR
1/2 C. sugar
1?2 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. cocoa

Pour 1 1/4 C. hot water over the entire thing and DO NOT STIR

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. It develops hot fudge under the cake when it is warm, the next day, it turns to pudding. It is SOOOOOO good.
