First of all, let me just start off by saying that I love my family. If you know my family, this post won’t surprise you. For those of you who don’t, prepare to be amused.
We start the eveing off with the grandparents, uncles and aunts coming over for a soup and salad bar with pumpkin bread bowls. This year we were surprised with a visit from Uncle Dustin who is doing his masters in California. The kids got all dolled up in their cute little costumes and headed out the door for an evening of raiding the neighborhood of the full sized candy bars that eveyone but us seems obligated to hand out. That is when the true adventure begins.
Halloween at our house has now officially been dubbed “Wig Night.” Over the past couple of years, I have been in search of the perfect looking wig. Well, in short, you don’t get much for $5 and the majority of them end up in the dress up box. That is where the family runs to in order to find the craziest looking ones.
I have absolutely loved this. We truly look like a crowd attending a Rolling Stones concert. We pride ourselves in our ability to let loose and have some fun. We have so much fun. I love looking for new and amusing wigs that we can add to the collection. We loved it when our friends showed up ready to jump in on the action. Next year..YOU NEED TO COME JOIN US!
