When I was expecting Toad, my brother wanted so badly for him to share a birthday with him. However, after being on bedrest for nearly 2 months with preterm labor, I didn’t want to wait one extra minute for Toad to be born. So, they have birthdays one week apart. Sorry Dayn, it was the best that I could do.
My brother, being the eternal Y fan, got more apparel than any man really should.
Oh, cute Toad. You can never go wrong with a gift for him. He LOVES everything!
The spider web thrower given by his cute aunt and uncle was certainly the big hit of the evening.
Mainly by the two people that gave it to him. It is amazing that the gifts that are given to the little kids are mostly things that the big kids wish that they could have, but would be publicly mocked for using. So, playing with them simply as a guise to “try it out for defects” is no longer a valid excuse.
Dayn got his favorite. Lots and lots and lots of chocolate.
Ahh… modern technology meets mom’s attempt at baking. He loved the cake. Who knew that a golf cake would go over so well with Toad.
And the ever famous score bar cake. It has a much more recognizable name used by nearly everyone on the planet, but for purposes of this blog, I will leave the name off of it for now.
