Aside from this being a general request, there actually is real purpose in the title of this blog! However, in order to proceed in this post that you are all dying to read, I do have to ask you one question: What do you do to alleviate stress?
Some people run, and personally, I just don’t understand those people. Some people do yoga, which is more along my line of favor i.e. calmly sitting in precarious poses while listening to the sounds of a babbling brook in the background. Regardless though, I don’t do yoga nearly as much as I used to. Some people cuss (love you!) and I NEVER do that….insert moment where I avoid lightening strike… but it sounds relaxing. Some people go to relaxing weekend getaways- to those people…. I don’t know how much longer we can be friends 😉 And some of you even get massages. Now, that one I can totally understand, love and cherish. Just when do you find the time? I have a gift certificate for a massage that has been sitting in my desk drawer for almost a year and I just can’t find the time to work it in!
That brings us to today. Want to know what I do to rid myself of all negativity, well not all, but enough to keep me from going mental. Two hints:
Oh how do I love thee Papa Johns and Calico Cotton? I mean seriously, these are my drugs of choice. Unfortunately however, I do tend to occasionally overdose on one or the other. Today it was a bit of both. I am working, playing and dreaming up what exactly I am going to do with these fabric remnants that I have collected over the years. And need I ask if there is a more heavenly meal on the planet than BBQ Chicken Pizza. No. There is not.
I guess after days like today I should consider taking up running…… I will consider that while I chew on another slice of pizza.

I don't even sew and I have to stay out of fabric stores. They make me think that maybe I could make something if I really try. I dream up cute projects, buy lots of fabric, and then it never gets used. It's just so pretty 🙂
Calicoes are my friend. My BEST friend. And I still don't sew!
