My baby sister…. by 18 years… got married on March 16, 2012. Ironically, she chose one day after my original wedding anniversary of March 15 (Ides of March- I was duly warned by Shakespeare himself. Most of my pictures of her wedding are on my other computer that is currently playing with my patience and is refusing to function properly.
I have once again failed at loading the pictures correctly onto this page, so you are going to have to deal with my droll commentary and then skip down to the pictures. Sorry. I need to figure this whole things out better…. or switch to WordPress as I was advised to do by some professional bloggers. We will see if I have enough energy to put into that 🙂
Danza and T.J. got engaged in October 2011 at Lagoon. They planned their wedding for March. They planned a wedding dinner the night before the wedding at The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was cute and sweet. Both families, as in Griner family tradition spoke words of advice and and wisdom. T.J.’s mom sang a song to the couple.
Their wedding was the following day at their church. It was a sweet little ceremony performed by their bishop who incidentally also served as Derek’s mission president. It was an interesting twist to have the ceremony performed by someone that was so close to the family already.
Although it is hard to see a 19 year old get married, it is good to see her happy. They have since moved to a cute little townhouse and have a darling little cat named Oliver. I wish them the very best 🙂
