Crazy Hair Day
October 10, 2008

Last year for Crazy Hair Day at Kyra’s school, I was very relaxed. I put a couple of extra ponytails in her hair and sent her off. In my defense, I had a 3 day old baby and had not one creative droplet in my tired post pardum body. Harvey came home that day and told me of all the amazing things that people did the their children’s hair.

So, this year, we pulled out all of the stops! Kyra asked for lots of colorful poofy ponytails. So, that is what she got. We spent over an hour on this cute little do. Next year, we will do two piggies instead of the pony up front. Aside from that, she LOVED it. Needless to say, she had the craziest hair in school.

After school, it took forever to brush out those lovely locks. She looked like a member of Flock of Seagulls when we finished. She was just excited to get all of those ponies out of her hair. Who can blame her. I get a headache with only one ponytail.

That’s my girl!

Too bad Maya doesn’t have any hair yet. The only thing I can do right now is put bows on her head. Lonnie thinks they look ridiculous but I think they are cute. He keeps telling me that he is going to get sweat bands for Max. 🙂
