Let me tell you a cute little story. My friend Julie is in town from Nebraska visiting her family. She has brought with her her two little kiddos, AJ and Xander.

Jules and I were the best of friends in college, lost track of each other soon afterwards and reconnected via the miracle of facebook. We picked up exactly where we had left off and it was like not a day had passed. Awesome when that happens.

Anwyay, we got together on Wednesday for a day out. We spent the morning at the splash park. Afterwards, we headed down to Orem to her parents house where the kids played in the backyard and swam around in the hot tub. The kiddos ALL got along famously. Amazingly enough, not a single dispute erupted.

While we were there, Kyra apparently drew a picture of herself with sidewalk chalk. Last night, I got a call from Julie telling me that Xander had decided to wander off into the backyard after they had eaten dinner. She asked him why and he said that he just needed to walk around. Later, she discovered that he was outside drawing a little chalk person next to the person that Kyra had drawn. He also drew them holding hands. How cute is that. Kyra and Xander have been talking about each other non stop since we left. They are traumatized that there is a chance (albeit a slight chance) that they may not see each other for a while.

I think that they are adorable
