I have been looking at picture of myself lately and I DO NOT LIKE IT. Today especially. I don’t know if it was my outfit, or the fact that I am just chubbing up, but I am not liking it. I have put on more pounds that I care to admit, and with summer just a few short months away, I need to do something about it.
Here is the catch. I don’t have a gym membership. I don’t have the time to leave my kids to go to the gym, nor do I have the money to spend on a membership. I have some exercise videos here, but they get rather boring. I lose attention and have wanted to find a way to watch TV while I exercise. I used to do that all the time while I was on the treadmill and lifting weights. Sadly, my treadmill bit the dust during the move and I have limited resources.
Then I caught this idea from someone in Pinterest-land and adapted it to my own needs. It is a TV workout. I pick my favorite show and I figure out a workout game. This way I get to watch my shows, and get off my butt to work my butt! I think it is a pretty stellar idea! The plus side is that I am completely addicted to the show and will actually do this! I am considering moving it to other shows as well.
