So, over the summer, I finally found the perfect swimwear. I really truly did. I saw it on Good Things Utah and I was hooked. The company name is Hapari and they have a store in American Fork. They have extremely flattering swimwear for all body types. I had to check it out. The site had beautiful albeit pricey suits. I found one that I thought that I would like and decided to save up for it.
At the beginning of the summer, by complete accident, I found that they were having an online sale of 50% off everything. Wow. My only hesitation was that I don’t like buying clothing online. I think that I have a hard body shape to fit and prefer to try something on before I buy it. So, me in all of my ingenuity, decided to jaunt on down to A.F. and try a suit on and then purchase it later in the evening online to take advantage of the sale.
By the time I made it down to the store, I realized that I might have made a mistake. Apparently, the sale was 50% off of everything… including what was in the store. I was there an hour before closing time and the line to TRY ON THE SUITS was out the door. However, my kiddos were gone for the evening and I had nothing better to do, so I grabbed a couple of suits and stood in line.
The sales ladies were amazing. They own the company and design the suits and were enormously helpful. They took a look at what I had chosen to try (the suit that I had found online and a couple of others) and told me that they had some ideas of ones that I might like better. Oh boy, were they right. They were geniuses in their field. The prices were beyond amazing and the suits fit SO well, that I ended up purchasing three suits instead of just one.
Not only did I purchase a suit, but the cute ladies showed me these incredibly soft and luxurious cotton coverups. They only came in two colors, black and off white, but it was mentioned that they made great coverups at bedtime. One touch of the fabric and I was hooked. They really are the softest cotton that you can imagine. I bought a couple of them.
Now granted, I do NOT have this body nor do I have the tan. There is no way that I could ever look like this model, but you get the idea. But, I digress. A month or so ago, I was getting the kiddos ready for bed and I had changed into the coverup for bed. Nena walked out of her room and saw me and stopped short. Her eyes grew wide and she expressed, “WOW mom. You look amazing. That is the prettiest dress that you have. Where are you going?”
Apparently, my clothes are so bad that now my pajamas are taking preference to my normal every day attire. If I look my very best just before going to bed, I have no hope for the future!
