Today I sat down with Bear and talked about things that he liked. I asked him if he could decorate his room in any way that he would like, what would he do. He explained in vivid detail how he would like an under the water themed room. He would love to see fish and bubbles and coral.
As I usually do when I am dealing with Bear, we hit Google. We hit google for all sorts of things such as finding out exactly why the sky is blue, what the real curvature of the earth is, the name of every single dinosaur on “We’re Back,” and how every blood cell gets oxygen and carries it through the body. I swear, I need a Ph.D in every subject just to be able to raise this child of mine!
But, then I digress. This time we googled for a bit of inspiration for his dream room. Lo and behold, we found it. Bear found his dream room. It is doable, if we move to Florida and submerse his room in an underground glass bubble. However, thinking about it, that would give us waterfront property. Maybe then, the Gorton’s Fishermen in my backyard would make sense.
Anyway, I give you, Bear’s dream room.

Darci,
Well holy coincidence batman, I just painted Isaac's room "under the sea blue" and I used these: http://www.roomdoodles.com/Under-the-Sea.htm to add some flavor. I'll post it on my facebook in a few days so you can see it. I LOVE IT! (RoomDoodles is a company I started with a girlfriend doing all customized removable wall murals)
