So I am thinking that that emotional reset button was harder to flip than I had originally anticipated. That is a big one! Anywho…. I feel guilty that I flaked out on the whole grateful posting series. I have so much in my world that I am grateful for that in all honesty, the posts could have gone on forever.
I was alone for most of Thanksgiving, the kiddos were with their dad. Now, before you feel sorry for me, DON’T! I was invited to several friends homes (thank you by the way!) However, I really enjoyed my time. It isn’t very often that I actually have more than 15 minutes alone. I was able to get so much done. That, and I went to see the new Harry Potter that evening with my family. My family, by the way, moved their Turkey Day to Friday to accommodate all of the schedules of me, my siblings, their boyfriends and girlfriends.
Anyway, having a day to breathe on my own gave me a chance to really consider what I am truly grateful for:
If it weren’t for Fairies, Bears and Toads, my life wouldn’t be the same. I am grateful EVERY MINUTE that I have them in my life. They are what carry me right now. In addition I am so immensely grateful for:
