All She Wants For Christmas……
December 8, 2010

After MONTHS of her top tooth being kinda loose, it is gone!  Nena surprised me today when she returned from school and smiled a huge pumpkin smile and asked me if I noticed anything different.

I squealed with delight.  That tooth has been begging to be wiggled and jiggled and loosened up a bit.  I have been trying to talk Nena into putting a bit of effort into losing it so that we could sing the song with umph and gusto!  I mean, really, how often do you really get to sing that song when you are missing BOTH of your front teeth!  She is thrilled!

My front tooth… I lost it on the first day of kindergarten. I nearly couldn't go as it was dangling several inches by a strand of gums (EW!!) and was afraid to let my mom separate it from my mouth.

Yay Nena!!

How fun for her! Ben won't wiggle his teeth either. After having a super loose tooth for more than a month, he came home from school with his little prize that fell out while eating. But at least there were no tears! I think you should video tape her singing the song and post it!
